Resolution Audio CD-50 - incredible analog sound

Incredible CD/HDCD player from the aughts. You can't buy a better sounding CD player at this price. Incredible detail, beautiful coherence, great rhythm - now a rare gem.

I used this as my primary CD player over the past year and I had to spend 10x this price to find an upgrade. You will hear your CD collection in a whole new way.

Phillips Transport and laser seem to be in great shape - it has no trouble playing CD-Rs. I think it was rarely used by the previous owner, and all reading errors I witnessed were due to media condition - usually a simple disc cleaning took care of it. It has RCA outputs as well as XLR outputs - It is fully, truly balanced with a total of 4x 20-bit PCM63P-K Burr Brown DACs along with the PMD-100 HDCD decoder. Built-in is an analog domain pre-amp volume control so it can be hooked directly to an amp without sacrificing any resolution.

No Remote and No original Box, but it will be safely packed for shipping.

Notes: There is a small nick on the right side of the faceplate. Please see pictures. The back has a sticker saying 220v, but this is a 110v unit, note that the power supply says 110v as well. Power cord included. Please let me know if you have any questions!
