Silverline Audio SR-17.5

Silverline Audio SR 17.5 speakers. These feature a Dynaudio 7" mid woofer and 1" Dynaudio dome tweeter.  I had them connected to a 35 WPC KT88 tube amp for a few years, just playing MP3's on my computer and the sound was amazing, better than the home theater setup you see in the photo.  They are very efficient over 90 dB I believe and work very well with a tube amp.
Silverilne wasn't well known for many years and these were $3,500.  Over the years they got rave reviews, some called them the best bookshelf speaker at any price. So they released a replacement which is now $7,500 per pair.

They weigh about 45 each, the cabinet is about 2" thick in some areas.  I give them a 9 for age, they look and sound great.
I have had them in my living room now for a couple years.  I have a large living room so I upgraded to a set of full size speakers, also Silverline Audio.  I bought these brand new from Silverline after visiting the facility and spending a day with Alan Yun listening to all his speakers and his own 300B tube amp that he made.
