Mark Levinson 383 Integrated Amp

Stereophile Class A integrated amp for sell . Unit is price low only because of two reasons. First is the selector knob on front has to be slightly push in when selecting the modes . I don’t know if this is normal but it was like this when I bought it . If you are lazy you can use the remote to change modes . There is no problem when you use the remote to change modes at all . Second, when you run RCA from cd to the Levinson it is a sound of beauty . The problem is I bought some Audioquest balance cables with the small battery packs attached to them and there seems to be some distortion when it’s hooked up from the cd maker to the integrated in balance . I don’t know if it’s the amp or the cables because I only have one set of balance cables . Anyway just giving you a heads up . Other than that the unit works excellent. Only selling because I bought the new Mark Levinson 585 and I need to recoup some funds ASAP . Unt will be shipped in a crate to protect it and I welcome local sell Houston Tx . Serial no is 1628. Don’t know how old it is . Thanks for looking .
