AGD Productions Vivace Monos Gallium Nitride newest technology !!

I'll try to keep this as short and sweet as possible. Audio Amplifier technology has started a quantum leap. Amplifiers such as the monoblocks listed, so far outperform Class A from a technical standpoint, that you may not accept Class A as viable technology. I'll spare you that discussion to tell you about the AGD Productions Vivace monoblock power amplifiers. These monos are for sure in the top 5 amplifiers Ive yet heard in 30 years in audio and 20 years doing this as a full time career, and attending at least 3 shows a year. I listen to tons of gear. These amps are something special. There is a clarity and presence like real life, the most transparent amp Ive heard yet.

In case you dont know Gallium Nitride can be used in place of silicon for semiconductors (chips). The result has never been seen before when used with high frequency switching devices. an almost perfect square wave with exponentially low noise levels. The switching ability of the devices far outperform silicon mosfets. As I learned from Jeff Rowland, there is no material that can by itself make any design sound good. Good layout is more important, and those look well laid out.  Alberto Guerra, the designer of the Vicvace monos is an inside guy from the semiconductor industry with 20 years of relationships on the manufacturing side. He understands the newest GaN devices better than most anyone. A music lover at heart, and prompted by the recent gains of GaN, Alberto left his semiconductor industry career to follow his true passion. Its easy to see this passion before you even listen to Vivace. . 

Make no mistake , this is NOTHING in Vivace like the amps made with N-Core, ICE module, or Paschal modules, this design is 100% proprietary and nobody else will be using the same thing as AGD. Furthermore, one of the GaN devices inside this amp is protected intellectually, so no other company will be able to recreate the AGD sonic.

Upon first glance they look like SET tube Monos. Soon its clear they are NOT SET due to the strength of the high bandwith output section that is first heard, then seen on pc boards INSIDE the Vacuum tube !! In other words miraculously contained inside the KT88 glass is the full output section of the amp. So if you want more power in your amplifier, you simply change out the tube for a more powerful GaN Tube module. Yes, the output boards are wired correctly so the tube pins fit an octal tube socket exactly !

These monos are 100% MADE IN U S A, and are aesthetically stunning to behold. Cast in 1 inch thick aluminum chassis with a smoked acrylic lid, it looks black on top in the light and glows the color of a dark orange sunset as it is LED underlit along with the tube, There are provisions for both XLR and RCA and come with beautiful WBT binding posts. actual power is 100WPC@8 yet it drives Scintilla no problem. I use them on Magnepan 3.7i

I will not waste your time with over the top superlatives to explain the sound, I'll break it down like I do to my audiophile buddies. Top 5 amps youve ever heard unless your ears have gone bad. Brings tone and timbral cues in the upper midbass region that youve always been trying to peg, but can never seem to find. everything else is just 2 notches better.
