I am selling my PS Audio DirectStream Junior DAC. I am the second owner. I am selling it because it is too big for my desk.
This is a DAC, preamp, and streamer!
Conservatively rated at 9 out of 10. Excellent condition (but not perfect). It has a few tiny scratches on the glass top. I tried to take a picture of them but they are too small to photograph with the black glass top.
It includes the company’s PerfectWave Network Bridge II, an $899 value when sold separately. Just to reiterate, the DSJ’s price tag includes the Bridge II, so when comparing the DSJ to just a DAC, keep this in mind as this feature eliminates the need for a separate streamer.
It is one of the very few DACs on the market that has Spotify Connect, it is Roon Ready, and provides MQA. These capabilities are provided through its Ethernet connection which is part of the PerfectWave Network Bridge II. It also provides automatic switching between Spotify and Roon – just use the Roon app or Spotify app on your iPad, etc. and it will connect automatically.
It also acts as a preamp with a digital volume control and digital inputs from I²S (HDMI connector), Coax, XLR Balanced, TOSLINK, USB, and Ethernet.
It also comes with power cord, remote, and user manual.
