Audio Note Kits (ANK) DAC 3.1 Transformer Coupled

I replaced this unit with a ANK DAC 5.1 in September. Audio is my hobby and I have been fortunate enough to be able to buy different pieces to try them out over the years. I am an avid audiophile and I will always looking for "something better". Local Stereo Shops are long since past and I was lucky enough to work at Tech HiFi in college. I am not aware of any DAC on the market that comes this close to "hitting the mark" in $2000-$2500 range. This is a truly high end DAC. I sold my PS Audio DirectStream DAC's on US Audio Mart after buying this DAC. The ANK DAC 3.1 was significantly better to my ears. Audio Note equipment is superb! I can't afford the actual UK Audio Note equipment so I am incredibly glad for Audio Note Kits in Canada. I have used this DAC for audio and A/V and it is produces the human voice incredibly well and to scale. Voices don't get drounded out by the other movies sounds.  
 
This ANK DAC 3.1 Digital to Analog Converter was professionally built by Audio Notes Kits in January 2018. The unit features the optional USB and standard spdif (coaxial) inputs as well as RCA and outputs. Included is a premium tube set.
