My amp is Serial #002, a pre-production Majestic unit. I bought it from another Audiogon member. It differs from current production units in these items only:   Front and back panels are blank (Wells Audio "Majestic", etc not painted on) ; An RCA input is substituted for the single XLR input (the Majestics are not differential balanced circuit); The four top plate decorative corner squares are removed (their screw holes did not precisely align with those of the top panel, so were just glued in place without screws. Looked sloppy, so I asked Jeff to keep them off and add the additional 8 screws for proper and secure top panel attachment.). Functionally, the amplifier is perfect. I have almost exclusively used tube amps for the past 20 years, and a Majestic reviewer's comment that it sounds like a tube amp but with solid state authority is  true. I sent my amp back to Jeff in the summer to add remote/motorized volume control, so it has the newest compact remote for volume, mute and standby. I inquired about any upgrades and the only thing Jeff said I could add were power rail Bybees which I passed on due to cost ($800). I have rated at 7/10 for a bit of adhesive residue at the top corners (difficult to capture in photos) a few tiny top side/rear nicks, and minor and superficial top panel scratches. There is a tiny white plastic spec along the inside left edge of the "Volumeter" which blends with the white background and is only visible if you look at the meter close up. I wanted to keep the Majestic but need 3 channels of amplification for video and can't afford separate music/video systems anymore.
I will pay shipping (UPS Ground).
