Just reduced from $3,999.00 - Audio Note S-9 step up transformer for moving coil and other low output cartridges with 2 pair of 99.99% pure silver 30" RCA connecting cables. "Pure Silver Sound". The transformer is particularly valuable for very low output cartridges in that it amplifies the signal with the least coloration. Very special.
The Transformer is for a cartridge of 2:4K ohms. The dimensions of the transformer case are 3”x2”x6". The connectors include a switch for balanced or unbalanced connectors. Serial number is 9048.
I have owned this equipment since 1983 but rarely hooked it up. Cosmetic condition shows some age - see photos. Functionally this performs not any different from when it was new. Exceptional performer.
My hearing can no longer appreciate high end audio so I would very much like to sell this to someone who can enjoy this fine piece of gear and the exceptional interconnects. I saw a pair of silver RCA's offered on Audiogon for ±$2,000. This setup has 2 pair plus the step transformer. I'm open to any reasonable offer.
