Tri-Planar MKVII U2 - 1.5m RCA, MintLP

For sale is my Tri-planar VII U2 tonearm with special-order
1.5-meter captive phono cable (RCA) in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.
You will also receive one Mint LP arc protractor and one Accutrak arc protractor,
both specified for this tonearm, also in excellent condition.

The arm comes with all the original accessories including set-up
jigs for cartridge alignment and armboard drilling, four counter weights, fine-adjustment
counter weight, anti-skate weight, mounting hardware, two precision screw
drivers, manual, and packaging. Plus, you'll get an additional, smaller
anti-skate counter weight sent to me upon request by Tri Mai, and an extra fine-adjustment counter weight.

The captive 1.5m phono cable delivers an uninterrupted signal
path from cartridge clips to RCA connectors, and allows greater flexibility in placement
than the standard 1m cable. The included Mint LP ($130 new) and Accutrak ($60
new) protractors are among the best available for accurate cartridge alignment.

This arm truly sounds wonderful—detailed, coherent, dynamic—and
it is a joy to use, allowing extremely precise and repeatable adjustments of
all parameters. It's a highly-refined piece of mechanical and audio art that
allows you to get the most out of your vinyl rig.

Purchased new from an authorized dealer in early 2012 (SN # 1111452),
it has been babied in every way and looks and functions like new. I'm selling because
I'm downsizing from 5 tonearms.
