Questions for the seller |
---|
may I ask why you are selling? Fair question.
I am a Lyra dealer and I have five regular Etnas in stock. Lately, they are my biggest seller. I always have one on one of my TT's for demo but don't want to get too many hours on a demo so I keep them well under 100 hours. when I hit 60-80 hours, they get rotated out of demo service. |
One more, if I may. Have been using a Lyra Clavis for many!! Years. Updated classe DR 6 preamp...plenty of gain, but loading not adjustable. Issue? Non adjustable loading is almost always not optimal. I couldn't find anything but a loading of 47k for your phono. Surely that isn't right for the MC side? The Stereophile review mentions you actually can adjust load buy soldering in different resistors. Most non adjustable MC phonos use between 100 and 200 ohm resistors. This wouldn't be too bad for the Etna but 400 and above works better for most systems. Some systems can't handle the extra information though.
Bottom line I can't say for sure... |
