Priced to sell. Originally 28000.00 a pair. These speakers were a Dealer Demo. We are the original owners. It's time for us to bring in newer product. 1 Pair DSP-7000 Piano Black Finish used for front channel. For those of you that don’t know, Meridian now makes a 271 that will allow you to run Meridian speakers with any preamp. This really opens the road to many who no longer needs to change electronics to use these speakers. All remotes, Owners manuals and stock cables are included for speaker hook up. As with all Piano black speakers, typical "swirl marks", but no signs of any other scratches or dents. Absolute beautiful speakers, although we need to make room for new gear. USA shipments only

Are u the iriginal owners? One woofer was replaced during warranty. The woofer was supplied by Meridian, and it was matched based on serial number. They are in mint condition. We were a dealer for Meridian for a while and these were on display in a showroom that was only open by appointment only. They were removed off the showroom floor 2 years ago. Us as the Dealer is the original owners of these speakers. Priced to sell. |

I mean how ling ere they in that showroom b-4 u had them for 2 years Purchased on 2/26/2006. I bet they have less than 500 hours on them. I've had them since they were purchased. I am the original owner. |
| Can they be upgraded to SE in part i.e. the tweeter or wholly? If so, what would be the cost? They never made a 7000SE. I believe that was a 7200, so I am not sure. I think you are thinking the 5200 and the 5200SE. |
| I think you're right. I wouldn't be surprised if they could fit the SE tweeters. Whether they would or not is something I'll have to find out. If I had room for them, I would just keep them. At 5500.00 in the condition they are in, I wouldn't touch modifying them. They are phenomenal already. |
