ANOTHER CHANCE RELIST

For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP of classical music:

ARTIST: JAN VACLAV STAMIC (also known as JOHANN STAMITZ for his German name, Czech composer born 1717, deceased 1747, Mannheim, Germany)

SLOVAK CHAMBER ORCHESTRA (Slovensky Komorni Orchestr), conductor BOHDAN WARCHAL

TITLE: MANNHEIM SYMPHONY (Mannheimske Symfonie)

LABEL: Supraphon Records 0 10 0654, MONOPHONIC, made in Czechoslovakia. Plain paper inner sleeve. A "Gramohonovy Klub 1969" release. Soft - flimsy material cover (not cardboard type used in the American albums jackets).

YEAR: 1969. Original pressing.

Liner notes in Czech language printed on back cover (written by Tomislav Volek).

CONDITION:

- front cover is VG+ (having: some creases by both upper left, upper right and bottom corners; some light impression from the record)

- back cover is VG+ (having: some light creases by both left corners; some overall light discoloration showing the time)

- minor to moderate wear on the upper edge, spine and opening

- entire bottom edge reinforced with black tape to prevent possible splitting (as shown in the two photos)

- vinyl is NM both sides - possibly MINT (VISUAL GRADING)

SPECIAL REMARKS:

- album contains Stamic's most important and major classical work composed while living in Mannheim, Germany (hence the symphony's title)

- Stamic's "Mannheim Symphony" is one of the most beautiful, listenable, special and interesting symphony ever written almost with no equal from the history of classical music

- mega rare album with not even one previous sale in eBay (Popsike source), almost impossible to be found again in any condition and at any price

A must-have LP in any serious classical record library and a solid investment. Highly recommended!
