QX POWER PURIFIERS

QX2 and QX4 units are power purifiers that are affective without compromising the peak current capabilities of your power supply or the integrity of your grounding. Each QX unit contains QRT field generators (two in the QX2, four in the twice as powerful QX4) that alleviate the impact of poor quality AC power on your sensitive electronics, limiting RFI and timing errors. Place your QX unit(s) at the heart of your system and you’ll hear a lower noise floor, greater dynamic range, more fluid musical expression and greater space and ambience. QX units allow you to hear more of your music (and less of your system). Used in conjunction with each other as well as the QBASEs, Qv2s and Qk1s, both the QX2 and Qx4 provide a highly effective answer to the insidious influence of poor AC supplies on musical reproduction. And because of QRT’s modular approach to AC treatment, you can add additional units as you go along – they never become redundant. QBASE AC DISTRIBUTION

The essence of the QBASE concept is a straight-line AC distribution path, combined with star-earthed topology for connection to a clean ground. By eliminating any form of in-line filtering or active circuitry we maintain the lowest possible AC supply impedance, while a tiny lift in the earth impedance of all but one of the output sockets routes the signal grounds directly to the center of the star and the clean earth terminal. Clearly identified on the casework, this Primary Earth socket is at the center of your system’s performance, literally and metaphorically. It defines both the order in which you connect your components and also, their listening priority in your musical enjoyment, allowing you to further optimize the performance of your primary sources. 

The sockets themselves are mounted on a customized frame plate and solidly constructed aluminum extrusion with machined end-caps that deliver a reassuring sense of substance. But the casework has far greater significance than that, the metal pieces and internal PCB (deliberately preferred to hard-wiring) constituting a single, mechanically tuned construction, designed specifically to enhance performance. Compare the musical performance of the QBASE to the competition and you’ll hear just how effective this is.  

A QBASE unit is the perfect starting point in the construction of a high-quality, modular AC supply for your system. Its compact dimensions mean that it can be easily combined with one or more Qx power purifiers and outfitted with Qv2 AC Line Harmonizers and Qk1 AC Enhancers as funds allow, while its slim profile makes it ideal for tucking away behind a rack or mounting on the wall.

Qv2 AC LINE HARMONIZER

The QVIBE, Qv2 is an AC Line Harmonizer that is designed to enhance the musical performance and picture quality of any audio or video system, delivering readily demonstrable benefits at an incredibly affordable price. It can be used as a “stand alone” product or to complement a full QRT system including QBASE, Qx4, Qx2 and Qk1 units. The Qv2 works directly on the AC line, introducing a carefully calculated range of pulsed frequencies, clocked from the original 50 or 60Hz waveform. The result is a drop in noise floor, with a commensurate increase in image depth, dimensionality and presence, significantly increasing the realism of both musical and visual performance.

Like other QRT products, the benefits are cumulative and Qv2s are even more impressive when used en masse. The compact, “plug-top” construction of the Qv2’s mechanically tuned housing allows it to be inserted into any free socket on your system’s AC line – although adding directly to a QBASE maximizes the benefits.

Qv2 units are available in either US (NEMA) or EU (Schuko) configurations, and compatible with 50/60Hz 100 – 240V supplies. However, standard adaptors can be used to employ the Qv2 in other markets. The Qv2 is housed in a mechanically tuned carbon fiber and has high quality gold plated connection pins. It is built entirely in the USA and carries a two-year warranty.

QK1 AC ENHANCER

The QKOIL QK1 AC Enhancer uses a load resonating coil (LRC) to generate a passive electronic field that has a beneficial sonic effect on the AC current.

Like the QV2, The QKOIL provides a vital solution to the issues of AC quality and audio/video performance, but unlike the QVIBE, the new QK1 achieves this by using an LRC furnished with Nordost’s patented Micro Mono-Filament technology. Using our MMF technology in a loading application prevents time delay and distortion of the transmitted signal, making the AC current that much closer to the desired “distortionless condition”. The Sensory results: an improvement in the overtones and pacing of the music as well as a greater sharpness, depth and focus of visual qualities.

The QKOIL is the entry level product in the QRT range, a family of modular, non-intrusive innovations that deliver measurable sonic enhancements and provide power in the purist way. Like other QRT products, the benefits are cumulative and QK1s are even more impressive when applied collectively. It can be used as a “stand alone” product or to complement a full QRT system with QBASE, QX4, QX2 and especially QV2 units.. 

The QK1 is housed in a mechanically tuned carbon-fiber body and equipped with either a US (NEMA) or EU (Schuko) connector. It is compatible with voltages from 110V to 240V, and can be used with an AUS or UK adaptor if required.  Plug the QKOIL into any spare socket on your system’s AC Line and experience first-hand the surprising yet indisputable effect it will have on you’re A/V components.
