Parasound 5250 Classic

For Sale: a Parasound New Classic 5250 Amplifier in near perfect cosmetic condition. It is perfect functionally and performance-wise. I purchased new for $2200 (retail was $2500). The amp has been housed in a well ventilated AV rack in my home, non-smoking, environment for the past 8 years and functions flawlessly.
Marry this up with your AV processor or replace the amp section on your AV receiver (if it has Pre-Amp outs) for THX Ultra 2 certified power!

Parasound is one of the most respected Hi-Fi amplifier builders in the US today and has a reputation for building some of the finest solid-state amps and other equipment available at any cost. 
I am letting my favorite AV pieces go because I am upgrading this amp and my Parasound 2 channel amp with new Parasound Halo series amps :-)  
250 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms with all channels driven (or 385 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms!!), ultra-low distortion, low noise and a fantastic, effortless sound make this a great amp. With 45 amps peak current PER CHANNEL it is one powerful beast!
I will include the Rack Mounting ears and it will ship double boxed in suitable boxes. Manual and power cord included :-)
