Revised 12.11.18 FYI, the original "box" is actually a round protective zipper pouch. No trading offers, please.
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS: I have used these cords with various Krell, Cary and Audio Research amps, a 6 channel Audio Research MP1 preamp (for sale), and PS Audio, Lumin, Musica-Pristina and Theta sources. Speakers I used had Accuton mids and ScanSpeak woofers and tweeters, custom made (just sold), with a heavily modified DEQX 2.6 (still up for sale).
Right now I have one extra 48" cable as its replacement just arrived. I will have another 48" cable available by the end of the week when order no.2 arrives. I am still sourcing replacements and making decisions on the remaining 48" and a 2m (78"). TBD.
FYI, these were far superior to the Audience PowerChord e power cables they replaced (and some WireWorld I tried). Bought them from Frank the owner of Silent Source in Texas directly. You've got to at least double your budget to find anything better (I did). I stumbled on these by accident as someone included one with some gear I purchased. I couldn't believe the difference 1 cable made then I converted my entire system.
I can't seem to find the Music Reference ones used or at least enough to buy an entire set and I hate paying full retail. So I am upgrading to some even more expensive Synergistic Research power cables (used) instead. Yes I know, practically no reviews and the music reference models only seem to get so-so reviews. Can't believe it. The break in time can be awful on the 20A cables....like 8 full weeks of playing music 24/7. I'm wondering if reviewers simply have failed to give them a chance? Not buying enough ad space to get a bunch of good reviews? I have no idea. I only know what my ears tell me. Their website is terrible. They have no online presence. But their entry level power cable is amazing for the money. Go figure. I think Silent Source could do a much better job marketing themselves but until then they will remain one of the better bargains in the industry.
Meanwhile, if you buy 1 cable and like it, I've got at least 1 more (and maybe as many as 3).
