VAC preamplifier with phono stage which was modified at VAC to work with Moving Magnet (MM) cartridges as well as Moving Coil (MC) cartridges. The preamp also has the Signature upgraded capacitors. I am downsizing. It has been used with VAC Standard Monoblock 160 Signature Edition's. The combination has been outstanding.
The tubes in the preamp are NOS Dumont 12AU7, NOS GE 5751-a substitute for 12AX7.
The tubes in the phono section are VAC Golden Dragon 12AX7.
The pictures do not do this unit justice.
I think it is 9/10 but rated it as 8/10 to be on the safe side. I have the original box and remote. The owners manual is on-line at vac-amps.com.
