This ET-5 is CJ's best mid level to come out in years. Yes, the screws are off on the cover pictured as I was swapping the tube at the time.  I am a CJ collector and I'd say this build quality and the amount that it takes to build this pre, they could not sell it today for what they sell their mid-levels for. This ET-5 has No issues, what so ever. I've used AMPREX as well as Gold Lion's. Comes with remote and CJ box.  Check my feedback; it is excellent for value. Don't chase lesser Pre's when in my opinion the ET-5 has too many strengths.

The unit features input selection and level adjustment by microprocessor-controlled relays, with controls available both at the front panel and via a full-function remote.
