Schoeps MK6 Multipattern Capsule | RARE

 Schoeps discontinued the production of these three pattern MK6 capsules in 2010/2011 due to production costs. Using the dial at the top, the pattern can be selected from cardioid, omni, and figure eight. These capsules are compatible with any Schoeps CMC amplifier. These capsules have been frequently used. They have been tested at the time of this listing for sound quality/noise prominence and are in good condition.

Schoeps MK6 Overview

The Schoeps MK6 is part of the Colette series of modular capsules designed for use with the CMC preamplifiers. The capsule is mechanically switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-8 polar patterns by rotating the ribbed cap. The MK6 is versatile enough to handle all facets of recording including instrument, vocal and ambiance capturing.
