Vienna Acoustics began in the late 1980s in Vienna, Austria, where they continue to design, manufacturer, and test loudspeakers today.
Vienna Acoustics Bach Grand is designed with astoundingly inventive solutions to musical problems evident in many loudspeaker designs. The beautiful floor-standing cabinet features Twin Balanced Reflex (TBR) loading of the potent 7” X3P mid-bass driver. TBR combines a conventional rear port with a groundbreaking airflow control port on the front of the cabinet allowing for class-leading bass output and control.
The system provides an extraordinarily compact driver configuration by positioning the refined 1” triple stacked silk dome tweeter directly in front of the port, contributing to a sonic presentation of power and verve that belies the speakers’ compact proportions. This diminutive two-way design joins an assembly for high fidelity that belies its size and price. There is a great mod that Bach Grand owners have been doing which involves filling the cabinet with sand and it makes a dramatic improvement is the performance of these already wonderful sounding speakers.
This pair is a showroom demo with just a couple hours of use. Repacked into the original boxes, they include all original accessories, bases and spikes and a 1 full year warranty. The grills and drivers are in excellent condition. The cabinets have a couple small scuffs. A fantastic price for speakers worth much more than they are priced at.
