These amps have been built by Kondo-san himself in the period that he operated under the brand Audio Note Japan. They are in original and unmodified condition. These have still the original sought after Elna Cerafine caps. The Guku-on’s were reviewed in the German magazine Audio as part of a “non-plus-ultra” system. It was designated as maybe the best amp in the world. At that moment the price for these amps was 255.000 euro. A copy of this review is available. The Gaku-on’s perform at the highest level and had only one previous owner. They come with GE tubes. These amps have been supplied by the official German Kondo distributor.
