DESCRIPTION

This is a high quality stereo power amp with 200w per channel featuring the distinct silver center panel with blue power indicator.  I’ve used this for second zone amplification of a pair of Magnepan speakers until 5 weeks ago.  I am selling due to downsizing my home theater setup.  It is in excellent sonic condition,  but visually an 8 with a few minor scratches on the top of the chassis (see photos), and kept in a non-smoking environment.  I’m selling due to downsizing my system.  It will ship in the original double boxed OEM packaging with the power cord and printed manual.  This unit would work well for sub-woofers, additional amplification in a surround sound configuration or Zone 2 power.  See my listing for a matching 5 channel THX certified Rotel RMB-1075 amp as well. 

From Rotel -  The RB-1080 rests close to the pinnacle of Rotel's two channel power amplifier designs. Power output of 200 watts per channel (20 Hz to 20 kHz @ 0.03% THD into 8 ohms) is extraordinary. The Rotel-made toroidal transformer feeds separate power supplies for each channel, each with its own rectifiers, voltage regulators, and capacitor banks. It features both switchable balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs to provide flexible system interface.
