Snell Acoustics K7 Reference Monitor Speakers Mint Condition Cherry Pair

Offered for sale is my very rare pair of Snell Acoustics K7 Monitor speakers in Cherry.

These are rare and gently used and true audiophile quality speakers in mint condition. They are simply amazing in every way. Equipped with Norwegian High End woofers and tweeters. Cabinets were built by Hand in The USA. Top and Bottom plates are made of thick machined aluminum. They compete with the B&W PM1s, and some even like them as much as the 805 Diamonds. At this price, they are a steal!

The smallest of the Series 7, the K7 is designed to perform, regardless of placement, and integrate with most decor. Based on newly developed, high performance drivers from SEAS, and (quite) a bit of magic from Snell 's chief-engineer, Joe D 'Appolito Ph.D., the K7 betters its award winning predecessor, the K.5mk2, in half the physical size. Fine tuned with an individually calibrated crossover, the shoe-box sized K7plays music and movies at concert hall levels, with startling dimension and clarity.

The K7 monitors feature a similar cabinet design to the LCR7 and measures 12 inches high, seven inches wide and 11 inches deep. Like the LCR7s, they are bi-wireable and have a boundary proximity switch on the rear. Unlike the LCR7, the K7 also features a rear-firing port. The driver complement consists of one five-and-a-quarter-inch woofer and a single one-inch silk dome tweeter, both by SEAS. The K7's stated frequency response is 50Hz to 22kHz, with 87 dB sensitivity.
