TITLE: THE FIRST SONGS

LABEL: Columbia Records, catalog no. PC 31610, STEREO, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeve. Credits and lyrics printed on back cover.

YEAR: 1973. Original pressing. No bar code on back cover. Reissue of Laura Nyro's first LP released 1967 on Verve Forecast label titled "More than a new discovery".

Tracks sequence different from the 1967 release.

CONDITION:

- cover is still in factory shrink wrap ("THE NICE PRICE" sticker affixed on front cello)

- vinyl is NM both sides / possibly MINT (VISUAL GRADING)

COMMENTS:

12 tracks, studio recordings. Featuring a special folk-rock music fused with jazz, blues and white soul elements. Includes the famous tracks "Wedding bell blues" and "When I die". Highly recommended!

Fairly rare LP, the second copy with the special "The Nice Price" sticker I've seen so far. Top Laura Nyro album.
