 Siefert Research - Maxim 111 H

I have two pair of these speakers with the second pair identical to the photo's posted with the exception I removed the name label on the front to the speaker grille cloth (no marks or damage to the grille clothe.   I have provided pictures of the pair that has some very minor blemishes that really are very hard to detect unless you are looking very up close to the speaker.  The other pair are in even better condition.  Both are in excellent condition.
I purchased these new in 1988. These speakers were manufactured in the 1980's by an American company out of California and were considered one of the early audiophile high quality small format bookshelf speakers. The cabinets are nicely fabricated using good quality materials and craftsmanship with wood veneer oak. They are a two-way, reflex-loaded loudspeaker system. Drive-units: 1" (III) 0.8" (III) dome tweeter and 6.5" woofer. Frequency response: 42Hz-24kHz ±3dB (III), 46Hz-32kHz ±2dB (IIID). Nominal impedance: 8 ohms. Sensitivity: 86dB/W/m. Minimum amplifier power: 25W.  They produce nice full sound in the high and mid range side while at the same time give provide a nice warm low end bass with the help of the front reflex ports. You will be very hard pressed to find a pair of speakers that will give you the level of sound quality and quality of box construction these speakers will give you in today's market for anywhere close what I am selling these speakers for.
Dimensions: 13" H by 9" W by 11" D. Weight: 36 lbs/pair. They sold in 1987 for  $ 599/pair.
