Convergent Audio LLC is an authorized Cary Audio dealer and offering promotional pricing on a Cary Audio SLP98 preamp. ($2995 is for preamp only) I compared similarly priced products and some that were double the price including Hegel, Macintosh, and Bryston and felt the Cary Audio was more musical, dynamic and transparent driving my Martin Logan expression 11A electrostatics than any of the other electronics. The Hegel for $6000 is not even in the same ballpark and sounded analytical.
