B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) Matrix 801 s3 a classic in great condition

I am downsizing and one of my systems needs to go.

I am selling my beloved and trusty B&W 801 Matrix Series 3 speakers finished in Walnut. These are a classic and cannot find anything better sounding at this price. These were purchased two months prior to the change to the Nautilus series. They have not been moved since they arrived to my system and have been taken very well cared. No kids, no pets, no smoke environment and light use.

After a few years I got the cheap stock binding post replaced with WBT Gold binding post and believe it or not they made a small difference in the sound for the good. As you can see in the pictures they come with the Sound Anchor stands. 

One of the speakers has a small blemish. It got a small dent on the left beveled area during delivery. I got a professional woodcrafter repaired it. It’s hard to feel it but you can still see it when close to the speaker (see picture). Other than that they are in great shape.

I have all the original accessories and packaging but to be honest due to the size and weight I don’t consider the original boxes and internal packaging robust enough for shipping therefore a local sale is preferred and I am willing to deliver them up to 200 miles away from zip 48188. If the buyer wants them shipped he/she needs to arrange for shipping and insurance. I would recommend a freight company (not UPS or FedEx).
