Linn Klimax DS/3 with Katalyst

It is not often that this world-class Katalyst architecture Klimax DS is offered for sale. This is truly a reference source component. According to trade journals, the Katalyst Klimax DS bench tested better than the renowned dCS Vivaldi!

This unit started life as a DS/1. I upgraded it to DS/2 and now to DS/3 which is the absolute latest version with the Katalyst DAC architecture. The unit was upgraded to DS/3 in October 2016 so it still has three (3) years of transferrable warranty. All upgrades were professionally carried out by a Linn dealer.

The unit performs flawlessly and the sound is detailed, rich and lifelike.

Note there is one small nick on the top of the casing towards the back. See the picture above titled top_2bjutu. I could hardly get it to show up with my iPhone using a flash. This will be invisible to almost all users, especially if placed in a rack environment. Looking at the unit from above (picture top_1) the small blemish is all but invisible.
