Border Patrol SE300B EXD

Border Patrol SE300B EXD tube SET amplifier with separate tube power supply. Output is 8 watts per channel. I purchased this on Audiogon in Jan 2017. The previous owner had re-tubed the power supply with NOS tubes and sent it back to Border Patrol for the EXD upgrade package for $3750. The EXD upgrade includes cryo treated inter-stage and output transformers, copper chassis parts, and upgraded internal components. It was virtually stripped down and rebuilt. The EXD upgrade results in lower noise floor, increased information retrieval, better tonal balance, and a more relaxed, sweeter, fluid presentation overall. The amp has Electro Harmonix Gold 300B tubes with approx 600 hours on them. Comes with owners manual and original boxes.
