This is a Carver 5 Channel A/V preamp. I just had it completely refurbished along with my TFM-15CB only to learn my wife will not let me use it. She hates the rack mounts.
I am the original owner having purchased it in 1994. It does have 5 and 4 channel capabilities but is really fantastic as a simple 2 channel, stereo pre. It has always been in a smoke free environment and like I said, I just took it in to be refreshed. Pricing reflects that refurbish.
It saddens me but I can’t see myself ever using these units again now that I am the importer for Art Audio.
The case is in perfect condition other than some rubber scuffs on the top. The remote still works wonderfully. I do not have the original box.
