B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) Matrix 801 s2 with Golden Flutes and Sound Anchor stands PRICE REDUCED

Excellent condition full range reference floorstander possessing extraordinary dynamics, wonderful detail through the mids and highs, visceral impact, and remarkable bass extension.  Black ash finish, and currently configured for bi-wire connection.  The JPS Labs Golden Flutes represent a substantial improvement over the stock bass filters, and reveal the 801 Matrix Series 2s' remarkable capacities for articulate and floor shaking bass down to 20hz.  The Sound Anchor stands help these speakers create a broad, high and deep soundstage, while producing substantial improvements in speed, microdynamics and detail. The flutes and stands are both INCLUDED WITH THIS SALE.

Rated 7 of 10 for age.  I am the original owner and have used these speakers with care. The drivers, surrounds and grilles in excellent shape. Some slight rubbing marks on some cabinet edges and one head unit, and one or maybe two cases of pilling on the fabric grilles and speaker covers, but barely visible if at all in the photos and invisible from more than a foot or so away.  I have all of the original packaging, manuals, factory test results and parts (casters, spikes, jumpers for single wire use, large and small cones and spikes for the Sound Anchor stands, but not the original bass filters). These beauties are quite heavy, however, so they are LOCAL PICKUP ONLY in PORTLAND, OREGON.
