Convergent Audio JL5 Black Path As New (Mint)

Reluctantly, I am putting my CAT JL5 stereo tube amp. up for sale. Unit was purchased by me in November 2017 to drive my Gamut RS7i speakers sharing time with a SS monoblocks. Unexpectedly and certainly not planned, I heard the Alsyvox Ribbon speakers while attending RMAF (first-time shown in US) and have now purchased them while selling the Gamut speakers and will be moving listening to a larger room. 
Therefore, the only reason for sale of this wonderful tube amplifier is the new speakers are better suited for SS amplification which I already own. Amplifier will come with original KT 120 output tubes and National/Matashushi made NOS  6922 tubes as drivers that sound similar to Telefunkens. The 6922 driver tubes can shape the sound to your desire. Unit also has an after market HiFi Tuning Supreme fuse installed plus stock fuse as a spare. Cages for driver tubes are in the shipping boxes as this is a smoke free children free listening room. Amplifier is as new mint condition and only rated 9/10 due to the age and small playing time. The photos are tough under lighting due to the intense beauty of this amplifier. Trust my feedback as you will not be disappointed. 

The JL5 amplifier is current production and contains many Ken Stevens upgrades that enhance the design. Those upgrades include complete self-biasing, long tube life due to voltage gains at .25% of the rated KT120 tubes. The amplifier is designed after his current Statement and JL7 mono amps. although be it at lesser power and in stereo version reflected in the price. Expect long tube life with no guess work as the self-bias signals tube replacement.
CAT amplifiers push above most other tube amplifiers in drive capability due to the massive power supplies and custom transformers Mr. Stevens employs over his long career in designing tube gear. 
The amplifier is comfortably rated at 120 WPC and comes with 4/8 ohm taps to drive many speakers with ease. The first 60 WPC runs in Class A and the entire amplifier is just stellar sonically. One German mag. reviewer claimed it was the best tube amplifier he had ever heard.
