This is the preamp that was the original Giant killer with both a great line stage and an amazing phono stage. One owner non smoker with no pets! With the exception of a minor blemish here and there this component is in pristine cosmetic and functional shape (see photos). The unit has been recapped and upgraded in Jan. 2019 a $600 service. The power supply capacitance was increased by 40% with higher grade, higher voltage capacitors along with 8 new ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers. Key resistors were also upgraded with Dale 1% Vishay metal resistors in both the line stage and phono sections. The Line stage was upgraded also with Teflon film capacitors.The tubes were also replaced (LESS THAN 100HRS. OF USE) with NOS Audiophile tubes. Also included is a new Mil -Spec Mosfet and new voltage regulator. You truly would have to spend 2 to 3 times as much to get this kind of sound! This is a true collectable Gem!
