Oracle Audio Technologies Paris Mk V with the Turbo Mk 2 Power Supply and Benz Micro MC Gold low output moving coil cartridge. The Oracle Paris Carbon tone-arm and dust cover is included with the turntable. Calling this a display model because it may have at most 5 hours of playing time since we had the higher end turntable hooked up to demonstrate. The Paris turntable is NOT a refurbished or recertified unit and was ordered new. The turntable/tone-arm is in immaculate condition as well as the Turbo power supply. No scratches on the turntable or the power supply. The dust cover is very clean for a display model. Very very light cleaning marks. Benz Micro MC Gold cartridge was factory ordered and installed. Setup and alignment was completed with the Dr. Feikhert Adjustment Plus System which is setup with their record and analog to digital(AD) processor and computer software. This takes all the guessing out of the tone-arm VTA and cartridge alignment to be scientifically accurate and sonically very good. The procedure takes 2-3 hours. Included is a new syringe of spindle bearing oil. The tone-arm silicone bath is saran wrapped and taped to prevent leaking for shipping. Manual, all parts and accessories for the turntable included with the turntable with original box. The box for the Turbo power supply will be substituted. The unit is a 9.5 out of 10.

NOTE: Oracle does not include the tonearm/turntable cable with the item ans this is required when purchasing and for use. This ir normal for the Paris turntable.

Paris MK V Turntable

While re-thinking the new MkV Oracle Audio felt it was very important to maintain the design signature of the original Paris turntable. Everything else is a total redesign! The Oracle mechanical design concepts are always intimately linked to the overlapping of different materials interacting within a same assembly for an optimal control of vibrations and resonances. The Paris MkV follows that same construction philosophy. Compared with the Delphi MkVI which has a very sophisticated full floating spring suspension and micro vibration stabiliser system, the Paris suspension is very efficient while being much simpler. It has been completely redesigned taking into account the findings that led to the development of the Delphi MkVI. The platter and tonearm are mounted on a semi floating chassis using a suspension made of fibreglass rods and sorbothane rings. The combination of these materials contributes to virtually eliminate the access of unwanted vibrations to the semi floating chassis where the platter, the tone arm and the phono cartridge are interacting.

The Paris tonearm features a micro vibration damping system specially developed by Oracle to eliminate undesirable resonances and vibrations generated within the tonearm itself due to the interaction of the needle with the disc. The combination of the suspension efficiency coupled with the micro vibration control system provides true isolation from the external environment allowing the stylus to retrieve the most accurate information from the record groove. The Paris is a belt driven turntable and has a low voltage synchronous AC motor. The drive electronics of the Paris has a very high precision oscillator circuit which creates a perfect sine wave signal to feed the motor ensuring high rotational accuracy for optimal speed stability. This system also isolates the drive electronics from line voltage impurities and fluctuations. The above features combined to the choice of materials are the essence of a high performance turntable and together explain the Paris outstanding music reproduction!
