I had purchased a few integrated amps to try in a second system but have now decided to downsize to active monitors. Of the few I tried this was one of my favorites. The amp was purchased from an experienced modder and I have to say it is one of the best amps I have heard under 2k. It sounds superb on my Proac Studio 3’s with ATC drivers. You would be hard pressed to find anything that can compete in this price range.
Driver stage has been upgraded to Aikido topology with 6N1P gain stage and 12AU7 buffer. Far lower distortion, better PSRR than original cascade driver. Coupling caps upgraded to Mundorf film and foil. All mods shown in photos.
I am rating it a 7/10 for a nick in the faceplate and some minor scuffing on the top. Overall it is in very nice condition.
I have the original remote but it has a broken spring in the battery compartment which should be an easy fix but I will Include a Harmony remote that works for the volume control.
Questions for the seller |
---|
Does this amp work with a 115VAC input? From the photo of the back panel it appears to be 220VAC. Hi,
It works with 110 so I assume it will work with 115 as they are compatible. It was most likely converted from 220.
