Pristine condition Reference Grade Conrad Johnson Flagship Premier 140 pure tube amplifier. It provides 140 watts of pure tube amplification. This amplifier can drive pretty much any speakers you may throw at it, and sounds dynamic, warm and detailed with a natural lifelike presentation, Along with deep tonally accurate Bass reproduction!
This Gem was just serviced and upgraded by Avatar Engineering, The service included New KT-120 power tubes, (Approx. 400 hrs on them) The power diodes were replaced with ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers. New Audio grade electrolytic capacitors and 2 upgrade film caps. Caddock ultra quiet precision .1% resistors were added in key areas for smoothness and better resolution. Included also are a Phillips SQ gold pin (6922) and 2 low hour Sovtec 6H30 Driver tubes.
The amplifier sounded very good before the service and upgrade! However afterwards the performance is stunning, a true reference piece that can compete with anything out there!
