Offering up for sale a Nagaoka MP-500, moving permalloy stereo phono cartridge. Lots of praise for Nagaoka cartridges, competing favorably with moving coil cartridges priced in the thousands.
The MP-500 is the top of the line cartridge in the MP series, featuring a highly articulate super fine line contact diamond stylus. The detail this cartridge is able to retrieve is out of this world.
I'm the original owner, purchased directly from Japan just over a year ago. It's been meticulously cared for and played only on new or excellent used vinyl with approximately 100 hours of playtime so far. Overall condition is a 9/10, only because it is used. Otherwise, it looks and performs like new.
