Bought these late November 2018 to pair with my VTL IT-85. Selling to free up funds for another project. Below is the info from the previous owner's ad.
Selling my pair of truly exceptional VTL power amps recently (1 year ago) upgraded with eight very rare and gorgeous sounding NOS GE "Fat Boy" EL34 tubes and with GE 12AT7 tubes. As you might know, these tubes alone routinely sell for around $1000 for all 8 tubes. The VTLs are in exceptional operating and cosmetic condition and conservatively rated 8/10 due to age. I can find no marks of any kind on the VTLs. The VTLs were used in a smoke-free dedicated music room.
The VTLs are switchable between tetrode mode (125 watts into a 5-ohm load) and triode mode (60 watts into a 5-ohm load). The VTLs have RCA inputs and speaker binding posts that accept spades, banana plugs, and bare wire. Each amplifier uses two 12AT7 small signal tubes (one input and one driver) and four EL34 power tubes with an individual bias pot for each power tube. (Rectification is solid state for good bass.) Bias adjustment of the power tubes is easily accomplished with a small screwdriver and inexpensive digital multimeter as described in detail in the owner’s manual. The owner’s manual recommends adjusting the bias every 1,000 hours of listening or once a year.

I have one original shipping carton and it will be shipped in a double wall outer box to protect it. The other will be similarly packed using custom made rigid foam supports and double boxed.
My info below.
I enjoyed these on the lowers of my Tannoy Canterbury GRs. I can already here the difference using just the VTL IT-85.  Tubes are in boxes in the amps and the correct layout for when I biased them is written on each box of EL34 tubes. PayPal and shipping via FedEx Ground are included at the asking price to the lower 48 states. No trades and International buyers WILL pay shipping and 3% PP fees. Boxes weigh about 45 pounds each.
NOTE: VTL, Bea Lam, tells me that these were made in December of 2000.
