Allnic Audio A-5000 DHT monoblocks

Here is a pair of fabulous sounding, excellent condition Allnic A-5000 DHT (Direct Heated Triode) monoblock amplifiers. I bought these personally owned amplifiers from Hammertone Audio’s owner a few months ago, but they don’t mate well enough with my resistive ribbon speakers (sound truly lovely but run out of jam for the volume level I like – loud), so they are for sale.

These were the dealer’s demos from new and, though about 8 years old, are in great shape. I heard them drive a pair of Wilson Sashas to wonderful effect at RMAF a few years ago, so I know they can drive many speakers though rated output is 10 watts each (about 12 if you use 300B XLS tubes) – sadly, though, not mine, which I do not want to change. These have both RCA and XLR inputs, and 4 and 8 ohm 5 way speaker connections. There is also a switch on one side to turn the front tube meter’s illumination on and off.

The amps ship with tubes installed. There is one of each of the following in each amp:

- HL2K (VT50/1050)

- Marconi LS7

- EH gold pin 300B

- Original Tung Sol ST shape, top getter 5U4G (fabulous rectifier with great bass)

Asking $7,800 USD, which includes ground shipping and:

- an extra pair of NOS HL2K tubes

- an extra pair of slightly used EH Gold pin 300B tubes

- a slightly used pair (in these amps) of original Mullard GZ 37 (CV378) rectifier tubes

The Mullard rectifiers are a little tall for the amp’s tube chimneys, but we both ran the amps without the chimneys on the 300Bs and rectifiers.
