Tannoy Kensington SE (Prestige)

These are the best sounding speakers I've ever owned and one of the top 10 I've ever heard. System changes are the reason for the sale. They are in excellent condition, but I've rated them an 8/10 just in case I missed something while preparing them for sale. There are no marks or scratches anywhere that I can find.

I'm the original owner and purchased these from an authorized Tannoy dealer. If you've ever thought about owning a Tannoy Prestige speaker, this is the sweet spot in the line and the SE is actually more desirable than the new GR. This particular pair was hand picked by the dealer when he visited the factory in Scotland. The mahogany wood grain is exquisite.

Due to the size and weight of the speakers, I'd like to keep this local to the Chicago/NW Indiana/Indiana area. When I received the speakers, the boxes they came in were not the most sturdy, so I had a local woodworker make wood crates for them. The crates are much more sturdy and will protect the speakers if shipped. If someone really wants these, but needs them shipped, we would have to work that out based on your location and at your expense. The only way to ship these is by pallet. Any reasonable offers will be considered.


I'd prefer a cashier's check for payment, but would accept PayPal with 2% added to the cost.
