Dynaudio Confidence C1 Platinum

This is the latest and current version of the award winning, Stereophile recommended and an audiophile favorite, C1 monitor speakers. In its current Platinum guise, the speakers are pretty much the same as the original C1 spec wise. It has a frequency response of 45 Hz to 22 KHz with a sensitivity of 85 dB and an impedance of 4 ohm. Physically, it is still the same size at about 8" wide, 17.5" tall and 17" deep. As the only monitor speaker in the Confidence series of speakers, the C1 Platinum is a big sounding speaker. Mounted on its matching stand (most ideal due to its depth), the C1 Platinum projected a big and confident soundstage. Stands are a $500 option but will be included in the package here with the speakers. Bass response was incredible for a monitor speaker with impressive tonal balance, liquid smooth mid-range and clean detailed highs. No surprise then that the C1 Platinum continues to be an audiophile favorite after the award winning C1. Built and finish is arguably better than the original C1 and in the black gloss finish here, is easily adaptable to any audio room.

Cosmetically, the speakers are in great condition, just very minor scuff marks from use. Stands (Dynaudio Stand 20, $600 MSRP) are included and essentially brand new but taken out for pics you see here.
