For sale I have a superb matched pair of 1954 production Sylvania 6SN7GTA vacuum tubes. 1 tube is branded Emerson, but the tubes are identical and were made just 4 weeks apart in 1954. Not only is this pair a superb match but they also have been tested for noise and microphonics in a tester designed for this precise purpose. Testing for N/M in a preamp is only beneficial if the sensitivity of the preamp in question is higher than the component which will be used by the buyer. Guaranteed to be noise and microphonics free in any application. No Schiit products please!
Test results: 2700/2625 and 2625/2650. Tested for transconductance, life, gas and leakage in a properly calibrated Triplett 3444 whose minimum for this type is 1700/1770 gm. In my opinion this is a better tester than any Hickok made and I have both a Cardmatic and a Hickok 539C.
