This is the highly regarded exaSound E28, with 8 multichannel outputs in mini-XLR configuration. It supports DSD256 or PCM384 via USB or in stereo only PCM192 via spdif. A femto-second clock is standard in this configuration as per the manufacturer specs.
It has been used with a simple PC + NAS to exaSound in JRiver with outputs directly to my amps in a 7.1 setup with USB. ASIO interfacing in the PC is standard with volume control, direct from mfr.
