For your consideration is a Rega Planar 2. This is a very good turntable the has been refurbished and upgraded. The tonearm is a new RB220 that has been upgraded with an RB330 counter weight, stub and RCA cables plus better tags. The cartridge is a low hours original Rega Bias. The smoked dust cover is in 9/10 condition. The subplatter is a Tangospinner as well as the 33.3 rpm brass dual pulley and silicone belts. The bearing well was cleaned and lubricated plus there is a new ZrO2 bearing. Also disassembled, cleaned and lubed the motor. The turntable will be properly boxed and protected. | Thanks for the info, what issues did it have if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking for another turntable and I was looking at the Fluance RT85 and some at the $600 price range... Never had a Rega before No worries, the dust cover was toast so I replaced it with a literally brand new cover that I had. The tonearm was a Grace G-707 that needed to be rewired so that was replaced with the brand new and upgraded RB220. It made sense to clean and re-lube the motor and upgrading the stock subplatter to the Tangospinner subplatter /pulley kit was a no brainer. Hope that this helps.
