Einstein "The Tube" MkII balanced preamplifier. One of the finest preamps ever made.
The unit has some surface scuffs, but overall is in very good condition, works flawlessly and sounds gorgeous. Original packing materials including beautiful velvet lined wooden case and the outer box. Comes with the tube cage and both the basic remote as well as the premium "The Remote" ($930 value).
Recently retubed, the tubes have very low hours on them. I will include two different pairs of Siemens gold pin E188CC (6922) tubes which work particularly great in this preamp. The unobtainium Amperex PQ "Pinch Waist" 6922s seen in the pictures are not included. I can include them for $350 (they have less than 50 hours on them and test at nominal new level on my calibrated Hickok 800 tester. I also have several NOS, unused pairs of the Amperex PQ "Pinched Waist" tubes I could consider selling.
The retail price for this preamp was $18,400 + $930 for the premium remote. The current version of this preamp is called "The Preamp" and sells for $28,000.
The unit needs a power cord with right angle IEC connector. Basic cord will be included. For $800 extra I will include a 2m Acapella High LaMusika pure silver power cord made specifically for Einstein preamps. The Acapella power cord offers a very synergistic match and takes this amazing preamplifier to yet another level of refinement.
