Analysis Audio Amphitryon Signature

One of the very best Magnetic planar panel speakers currently available in today’s market. This is the rarely seen AMPHITRYON SIGNATURE  version of ANALYSIS AUDIO’s second from the top model. They are the latest version of this speaker and approximately 3.5 years old. The SIGNATURE features outboard crossover modules with upgraded crossover parts. Do not confuse this model with the more commonly seen Analysis Audio models , Omega and Epsilon which, while very nice products, tend to sound a little laid back, with somewhat limited dynamics. The  AMPHITRYON sounds much more alive, and transparent with superb dynamics and SPL capability. It stands 7 feet tall and weighs close to 200 pounds and has a true 25 HZ bottom reach and is relatively easy to drive ( 88 DB, 6 Ohm load).  I have owned over the years many quality “panel” speakers (Quad ESL 57, single and stacked, numerous Magnaplanar’s (Tympany 1 U, 1A,B,C, IV, 20.1, 3.7, etc), Apogee Diva, Duetta Sig...Stage....Martin Logan CLS, Soundlabs......etc...   The AMPHITRYON is easily the best of the best.  See several of the on line rave reviews ( Enjoy The Music, WHATS BEST FORUM owner  thought the next model down (OMEGA), was perhaps the best panel type speaker he had ever heard).....May consider trades on quality electronics, or a turntable.
