I listed my Theta Casablanca IV-A SSP, black, with 2 Extreme D-3 (top of the line) DAC Cards (6 channels per card, 12 channels total) and latest everything including HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.2 video pass through card.  Immersive sound formats include Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. Internal processing is 96-24 for all 12 channels with Dirac room correction with microphone included. Two remote controls included, original and the newer learning remote.   Already sold, with one of the D-3 DAC cards, for $11,000.

The 2nd 6 channel Extreme D-3 DAC card is still available. Asking $3,000 plus small shipping charge and Pay pal fees. Will consider best offer. $4,995 MSRP.
Theta Digital's previous best sounding SSP DACs are the Extreme D-2 DACs (only 4 channels each), and the D-2s pale sonically in comparison! I should know, I I owned the D-2 DACs as well!

I can be trusted.  From 1999-2003, I was the moderator of the Tweaks Forum (https://www.avsforum.com/forum/28-tweaks-do-yourself/index192.html), where I initiated having an AV industry Special Guest weekly answering questions, and soon I moderated this Special Guest feature in its own separate AVS Special Guests Forum (Unfortunately, once I stepped down from Moderating in 2003, the AVS Special Guests Forum was discontinued). I interviewed top AV industry pioneers like Sam Runco (projectors), Paul McGowan (PS Audio), and other companies such as HSU subwoofers, SVS subwoofers, D-Box, etc., etc.
Following is a post 3-16-2019 from www.avsforum by user CANNGA regarding comparison of the Extreme D-3 DACs vs other Theta Casablanca DACs - there is no comparison sonically!

Difference between a good DAC and an average DAC.

Xtreme D3: The very best using same Burr Brown/TI DAC chip as Theta Gen 8 stand-alone DAC, and as of now, the only card that could do height channels (@Steve Brunzonsky or anyone pls correct me as needed).
Xtreme D2: Next best. Outstanding for most important channels LRC and subwoof.
Premium: Preferably for height and surround only. I don't think this card could do height yet, but it should hopefully in the future.

In summary, for the important LCRS channels, go for Xtreme D3 and D2. For the less important surround and height, Xtreme if you have $$$, but Premium should be Ok. I would recommend not to use Premium particularly for Left and Right channel.

Questions for the seller
Is this listing for the Theta CB 4A or just the DAC card?
aS i state in the edited listing, I sold the CBIV-SSP with one D3 DAC card, and now the other D-3 DAC card is for sale!
Will Theta have 4K HMDI to TV?
I am only selling the DAC card so I am not going to waste time answering any more questions on the CBIV-A SSP itself as its sold. There's a Theta Digital thread over at the 20k+ forum at www.avsforum.com where you can get answers to anything Theta Digital. But my old CBIV-A SSP had the pass through HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.2 card which passes through 4k and HDR.
