Tara Labs Power Screens use parallel ceramic components
made from a proprietary ceramic and metallic compound called Ceralex.
Ceralex is a material developed by TARA Labs to absorb and dissipates RF and EMI.
The unique property of Ceralex is it's precise absorptive quality.
Ceralex is Passband-tuned with a first order filter response (-3dB).
The unit Dissipates radio frequency and electromagnetic interference from AC power.
The AD/6C's component design allows for separation of analog and digital sections,
thereby reducing analog/digital interference. It provides Surge protection and does
not introduce any AC current limitation according to the manufacturer.
The AD/6Cs in my systems have provided just the right touch of passive power
conditioning without making their presence known in the system in any undesirable way.
*This unit has excelled at providing clean power to my Samsung UHD-4K LED TV and OPPO 105D Blu-Ray DVD/CD/SACD universal player.
This unit is in mint condition with no scratches, blemishes or other defects.
It is functionally/aesthetically like new as is the original box.
Price when new varied in 2009-2010 but I will set it to the lower of the 2 numbers Tara quoted me through my dealer at the time (approximately $1100). There seemed to be fluctuation in the retail pricing and at one point I heard from my dealer that they set it much higher ($1500/above).
I will sell the unit for $300 OBO. I will pay UPS Ground shipping to the US Lower48 states and if the buyer is international, I will pay the first $30 USD towards USPS International Mailing
These units are built for typical US power inputs. Thanks for looking!
