High Emotion Audio Pipedreams

Here is an awesome pair of line array speakers - the Nearfield Acoustics/High Emotion Pipedreams "Reference 21".  They consist of a pair of towering 7ft columns with 21 Drivers and 42 Tweeters each and a pair of passive subwoofers. An electronic crossover is used to deliver the correct frequencies to the amplifiers (amps not included) powering the towers and subs.
 The listening experience is nothing like you have ever heard from conventional speakers. I am only the 2nd owner and these speakers and they are in very good cosmetic condition with only minor scratches and blemishes - most notably are areas near the bottom edges of one of the towers where the black veneer is slight chipped away. Other than that they look brand new! Absolutely NO cone or tweeter damage! They come with very large platforms that must be installed so that that they cannot tip over.  They work perfectly and sound amazing!! Line array speakers have many advantages over traditional speakers.They are extremely versatile and  LOUD , that can be literally  tunned to any room by way the crossover and an adjustable 3 octave differential switch set at the rear of each of the speakers.

If i had the option, I would keep these forever because the listening experience is nothing like you have ever heard from conventional speakers. The original Sticker price on these 21's was $70,000 (see Robb report article) I REALLY don't want to let these go but I am moving to a smaller house that will not accommodate their 7 ft height !!.My loss your gain and once you have heard these incredible speakers and the deep crisp bass of their woofers,you will truly understand what a deal you got!
These are the later spec High Emotion Reference 21's and far removed from the earlier Pipedream models.  Note the High Emotion Signature HE logo They come the more versatile better spec'd  X0-L crossover. Also the newer more powerful subs that have two mechanically opposed woofers in each cabinet to achieve self-contained force cancellation.These subs are far superior to the older drum style ones that came with the earlier Pipe dream models.High Emotion brought out Near field and upgraded the crossover and subs.

Please note : There are other 21's out there for sale that are considerably more expensive ( $25K) or older Pipedreammodel with lesser spec'd woofers and crossover, that also suffered from problems of wrinkling veneers. So, with that said, I believe these represent the best value and spec you will find out there at this price for this speaker , infact ANY speaker at this price point  and they ARE priced to sell! !

Strangely enough, these speakers never came with Manual but you can call the original designer ( as I did) Craig at High emotion. He is a very articulate engineer that will take the time to answer any and all your questions about setting these monoliths up!. He is extremely proud of their design and will assist you in any way he can!
I will include the Robb report of the original Pipedream 21's  (so you can show all your friends that marvel in their greatness how expensive they were back in the early 2000's!) . Also a printed manual from the Genesis line array speakers that will be extremely helpful with positioning and setting up of the high pass crossover points and phase adjustments. 

These speakers need a large listening room with high ceilings, small listening room just won't do them justice!! Please note :- I have had industrial roller casters retrofitted to allow for easy critical positioning and as well as the original spike set once the preferred listening position is achieved

The Line arrays with the woofers weigh is an excess of 600lbs so Local pick up is recommended!!. You will need 2 people a hand cart, 2 trolleys and i am happy to assist with moving at my end.A regular  10ft UHaul van will fit everything!l Will Transport within 75 miles of NY 10924 if Uhaul and gas are covered by buyer!
