The best amplifiers I have owned or heard. These rarely come up on Audiogon and I can understand why.
These 211 tube-based amplifiers have the sound purity of a SET amp, yet the dynamics and bass power of a high power tube amp. They utilize two 211 tubes for output and a 300B for power supply.
The sound from these amps have great immediacy in sound, you are there presence, very transparent, whopping bass, and a sweet midrange. Only very well done SETs or mega expensive Kondos or Shindos might be better and not by much.
Its just the perfect amp for most speakers. I have enjoyed these with Sonus Faber Elipsa SE and Vivid B1 speakers. The reason I am selling is I am using a solid state amp for some new to me MBL speakers.
Included in the package are $2000 worth of tubes which will be packed separately.
Shuguang Black Treasure 300B-Z - 550$
NOS RCA 6EM7
4 211 GE tubes I found NOS on Ebay. Low hours. Said to last up to 10,000 hours. Incredible sound and only topped by RCA.
4 211T PsVane reference tubes as extras (not the standard ones)
Rating 8/10 as I am the second owner. I don't see a single scratch, only dust or smudges that can be easily wiped out.
Price is firm and lower offers will be politely ignored.
I also have 4 extra GE 211 NOS tubes that I can sell for $300.00 extra.
