Avalon Acoustics Eidolon

These are original ceramic Avalon Eidolons in cherry veneer, complete with grills, shipping crates and Apex couplers. I am the 2nd owner, I bought these from a dealer who had taken them in on trade. They have not been moved since installation in 2012 in a pet free, kid free, smoke free house. They are in mint condition. There are a few hairline scratches on the tops from dusting, and a microscopic ding on one of the bottom corners that even I have a hard time finding. And they’ve never been abused (by me at least) by being driven too hard. I’m no head-banger.

We are relocating to another state, thus I’m taking this opportunity to see if these will sell. If you’re interested, read the following carefully because the logistics of this sale are tied up with the relocation.

1) We’d need to complete the deal by April 8. This is because the speakers will be packed in their shipping crates by professional movers on April 9 if they’re still onsite. If the speakers haven’t sold by then, they’re loaded on the mover’s truck and it’s off to the new house they go, and the listing is cancelled.

3) Local Sale MUCH Preferred. If you are near the Chicago north suburbs, and you are the kind of person one would invite into one’s house, you are welcome to audition these. I might be inclined to give a little bit on price for a “local-you-haul-them-away” sale. This way you see them, hear them, like them, pay for them and take ‘em away. Everybody’s comfortable, especially me.

4) Non-local Sale. If I have a confirmed (i.e. money transferred) sale by April 8, and the buyer wishes to arrange shipping, the speakers will be in their crates on April 9 and the buyer could arrange for their shipper to drive up to my garage and take them away sometime soon after.
